On the large residential lot located in Point Roadknight, was a four bedroom holiday home, well set-back from the street frontage and built in the 60's. In serious need of an update, it was decided that the post and beam structure of the house would be retained.

The works to the building were extensive, removing almost all existing walls, while retaining the post and beam structure, so that the plan can be almost entirely reconfigured. What was previously car parking and storage under the house was enclosed, the South facing balcony was absorbed internally, and the North facing deck increased.

Now with six bedrooms and five bathrooms, two large living spaces the house caters for the large family and some. On ground floor the living space, that doubles as an activities room links directly with the tennis court, while on first floor the living space links the North facing deck. The extent of the works render the house essentially new, with its bulky form broken with large windows and simple detailing.
